So I actually took some time to myself today. I got off early from work today and I decided to play with the kids in the yard. I love pictures of animals in the grass. It's so pretty. Here are the recent shots of the fam.

In this meme, bloggers take turns interviewing each other. I saw Charlotte interviewed by Recovering Straight Girl, and asked for an interview myself. Charlotte responded with these questions:

1) What are you most proud of?

I have been married for almost nine years. (To the same guy =) )

2) When did you know you were in love with Joe?

Well, I know when I said it, I thought it was love, but in retrospect it was just that new relationship stuff. I think I really knew when we were living together and a friend of mine was splitting up with her boyfriend. She came to me to talk and she asked me how we made it work. It was weird. It kinda hit me that Joe was this amazing guy and I loved him. I could not imagine life without him.

3) What is the best vacation you've ever taken and why?

Our little East Coast Adventure! We wnt to Philly to see the wonderful Charlotte and Sue and took a tour down to DC and back up to Manhattan! IT WAS AMAZING!

4) What are you afraid of?

Lately, a lot. I am afraid of not doing well enough in school and not getting into the program at ASU. I am afraid of not being able to afford to stay in school. I am afraid of losing Joe. I am afraid of never getting the hell out of Phoenix. I have lots of fears.

5) Jump ahead 5 years... what does your perfect life look like?

Living in a London flat.. working in a hospital as an RN while Joe goes to school.

I have not blogged in months. I am bitter about 2 things. 1. The Gmail change. I went thru the motions to change over because I have used Gmail for like 2 years now. Whenever I try to post pictures thru Picasa/Hello it says I have to log in with my Gmail password, so I do and it doesn't recognize it. 2. I want to post pics and do my blogging from my laptop, which happens to be a MacBook. Picasa/Hello doesn't support Mac users. I am Blog Bitter. I have Disney pics as well as MY NEW PUPPY PHOTOS and I cannot post them. Maybe when I figure this all out (or have the time to try and figure it out) I will blog more. Til then, EFF you blogger.

Joe and I went to a Halloween party at Jeff's (pictured below as Popeye). It was fun and disturbing all at the same time. Fun because of friends and disturbing because of Pat in his childrens Batman costume. You will see what I mean. His "Cash N' Prizes are way too visible through the tinty little form fitting costume. We decided that since Joe got his new telescope we would head back up to Williams where there is less light polution to play with it. We invited our friends Jen and Jeff up with us. A good time was had by all. We went to the Grand Canyon (yawn.) We also went to a lava tube / ice cave to hike. It was crazy and some of the parts were so low you practically had to crawl along the ground! We made it all the way in and back out so we were proud. =). We saw a silly gunfight and stopped in Sedona on the way home. There are a ton of pics of our little adventure!

Okay so I know I have been a bad blogger lately. I just don't have anything new to chat about. We went to Williams again but this time with our friends Jen and Jeff. We got a new telescope and needed to go somewhere with less light polution to use it properly so Williams,AZ was the place. I have some cute pics that I will blog when I am at my desktop. Oh, well I guess that is new info.. I bought a MacBook and I am still learning how to use it. In other news, I got a fun package from Sue and Charlotte today with fun little gifts that made me smile and my GIANT CHUNKY FLIP FLOPS that I left in PA when we were there in April. I was very happy to have them back! Ok, well that is about it for now. I will login some fun pics from our trip tomorrow. Bye for now!

On a holiday again..

Joe and I went to Williams, Arizona for the weekend. It is a tiny little town off of Historic Rte 66 and about 50 miles from the Grand Canyon. We stayed at the most charming Bed and Breakfast, The Grand Living B & B. The owners, Gloria and Bill were lovely and we were made to feel like family. We were pretty low key, ate at family restaurants, sat on the porch in rocking chairs and even laid in the driveway in the middle of the night to look at the BILLIONS of stars you could actually see. It was nice. We went to a deer farm... I didn't even know there was such a thing. There are just deer all over and you feed them but they won't go away. It was a little disconcerting.. 40 pairs of large doe eyes staring at you, surrounding you, waiting for corn... following you. It was like a fluffy version of Alfred Hitchcock's, "The Birds". There were all sorts of other animals at the farm also, reindeer, birds, mini donkeys and cattle.. craziest farm I have ever seen. Overall we had a wonderful relaxing time and are looking forward to going back soon!! Oh, and I have posted an endless number of pics.. I will beg your forgiveness.

Sedona trip 06'

Well we came back safely from Sedona. It was a lovely relaxing trip. We did a lot of laying around and shopping. We were sad to find out that all of the Coconino National Forests were closed due to a wildfire a little north of where we were so I didn't get to do the serious photography that I wanted but playing is fun too. We met a sweet couple our age named Dustin and Darcy that were celebrating there first anniversary. We spent quite a bit of time with them and it always involved a lot of wine! They were great and we really hope to keep in touch with them. I won't jabber too long because I posted a zillion pics but I wanted to say hi to everyone and I hope you all had a great fourth of July!
